I put this page together for better communication especially with respect to our Tuesday night jam in the Arlington/Mid Cities/Ft Worth area, and to provide some good learning resources I've come across. Because I'm a banjo student, I've browsed mostly banjo specific sites, and found that there is lots of info there which would be useful to any beginning bluegrass musician, regardless of instrument. I subscribe to "Dr. Banjo's" ideas that the earlier people get involved with "jamming", or playing with others, the more likely they are to stay involved and not put their instrument aside. Therefore, several of the links listed are pertaining to jamming rather than specific instrumental techniques. Please browse through them and see if you find anything useful.
